buddha10
In May I am planing on landing in Bangkok and then heading to Laos by plane the next day. I will probably be in Laos for three days and will return to Bangkok for the remaining two weeks of my trip. Will I have to apply for a multiple entry visa before I leave for Thailand? I carry US and Irish passports.
buddha
Don't know about the lao visa situation, but you don't need any visa for Thailand. You will get the standard 30 day upon entering your first time and then again when you return from laos. If I understood correctly each 30 day visa will be more than enough for your one day and then subsequent two weeks. nice name
Nervous_Dog
I cross over into Loas monthly, no worries, I have written a long report recently somewhere here on how to cross over. Word of warning, if your taking a Thai girl WITHOUT a passport (which you can) make sure you get your paper work done BEFORE you cross and BEFORE 4pm. Otherwise border open till 10pm as of last week. On re-entry into Thailand you;ll get a new 30 day visa. DOG
Guest
On re-entry into Thailand you;ll get a new 30 day visa. Small correction: on each entry to Thailand you will be granted permission to stay for 30 days *without* a visa.
