Bkkbound04
Hi, if you've booked a twin room then you'll get a room with two single beds. The policy regarding joiner fees at Ambassador is inconsistant, there is a rather unpleasant security manager there who seems to make up the rules as he goes along. To be honest, the Ambassador is a long way down my list of prefered places to stay. JP

Stayed 1 night (because other places were full) NEVER AGAIN. Think I'd rather sleep on Suk with the beggers!!
MaiLuk
Yep ambassador had a nasty room waiting for me when i arrived. There may be some nice rooms somewhere in that place, it does have 400 rooms afterall.

vinod
Make sure when you check-in it is double and your gf will be coming by the later flight. They would tell you that to pl. come and fill in id details when she arrivies and you tell tell them you would do. This way the computers are logged as double. This is my exp., here. The secuirty looks for the your room no., to check this when u walk with you tilak......... have fun....... cheers vinod
dddave
At the Ambassador, along with many other Bangkok hotels out of the immediate Sukhumvit area, a "joiner fee" is charged if the guest is un-registered, regardless of whether a single or double is booked.
