Possible you will be with farang but also possible to be only with Thais. Depends where you go. In BKK is a "Canadian" temple that teaches Canadians. I would suggest you decide whether you wanna be with f or thai and WHERE you wanna be. Some good temples around Chiengmay in the forest. You will be with only a handful of Thai monks andmight be learning with farang pupils. Determine first if you are better off in a Mother Nature environment or rather a social one or look for both. There is a reader submission in Stick's site about someone who did exactly this and is asking if any other farangs would want to give it a try. It does not cost anything but you are expected to take it seriously!! No sneeking off for a few beers and a short time....
