Fidel
Jagger was here in Vientiane last weekend... I think. Or was it the weekend before....? All the weeks blend into one another here. Anyway, he was in town and his presence created quite a stir among the ex=pats in town, well some of 'em at least. He was spotted hanging out with a model type chick in tow, no Lao chicks I'm told. sayjann
not her decision or choice. all awards are chosen and decided by the idiot Government at the time and the sycophants surrounding her. i find the awarding of such things to People like him disgusting. where i work is a disabled chap who has worked P/T voluntary for 47 Years with kids. 6 times he has been recommended for the smallest award available and knocked back everytime. he is much more deserving for some letters after his name then any 'popstar'.............. chuckwoww
I think Tony Blair, a bit of a pop-star wannabe, had something to do with this one. Jagger lapped it up but Keith Richards is still waiting for his knighthood I see.

chuckwoww
A generous donation to the Labour Party gets you a peerage these days. I like to think Keef is above all that nonsense.
