Given the above, difficult to get a room there.
Zorro
Flipper is okay but the beds are hard as rocks and the plumbing is not so good in a number or rooms. FOr the same price the Eastiny Inn just across the road is much better.
unit731
I visited all hotels on Soi 8. All seemed pretty good. Then it boils down to value for money. I stayed at the Estiny, then later the Bella Vista (owned by the Estiny Hotels). The loud music, on Soi 8, can be a distraction. But since I live in a rural area and only hear sounds of crickets and birds chirping - the sounds of Soi 8 are sought after!
unit731
TARIFF Room Rate in Thai Baht Superior 1,200 Standard 1,000 Although from website, it appears that the Bella Vista rates have risen quite a bit since my last visit or these are the winter rates or published rates. I paid about half this rate. Maybe it is time to look for another good cheap hotel!
dddave
I stayed at Belle Vista a few weeks ago and paid B650, rates go up B850 Nov. to the end of Feb. Decent hotel but no pool.
