BuffHello Posted May 1, 2006 Report Share Posted May 1, 2006 HIV patients welcomed to 30-baht care The Secretary-General of the National Health Security Office said today that HIV patients with a gold health insurance card can receive their HIV medication at their nearest medical service centre. Saghuan Nitthayarampong secretary-general of the National Health Security Office, said the new policy makes HIV patients eligible to register for medication under the 30-baht health care programme. Patients who cannot travel may register at the most convenient health care centre in their district. The secretary-general promised that a state-of-the-art HIV care centre has been set up under the health care policy in order to provide quality health care to patients. .***************************** how easy is it to get 1 of these gold cards ? whosyourdaddy Posted May 13, 2006 Report Share Posted May 13, 2006 Would be surprised if this does take effect. The 30B scheme is a good one. Basically it is a preventative measure that is suppost to get people into the hospital that would otherwise ignore problems. If they get the problems before they are serious then they can save money.
