Centre Point Petchburi Vs Livingstones soi 33

Recommended Posts

Hi - I have been offered great rates on C.P through an Int. organisation (1.000/night), however I am uncertain about the standard, location, restaurants etc. On the other hand I was recommended Livingstones at soi 33 - no doubt a good location but is it worth paying 2000/night?

Depending on your tastes.

A few hints:

I visited both and stayed in one for one night.

livingstones:

- if soi 33 is your thing then stay there

- it is closer to nana or SC.

- Very good service from what I heard

- If wanting to have a real personnal service then it is for you.

- Rooms are very nice especially the suites with jacuzzi.

- Totally guest friendly, no walk of shame.

- Good restaurants.

- I must admit that the prices are a bit steep although compared to what is on offer in these price ranges

(2000+ bth for the nice rooms) are not that bad.

centre point.

- Nice serviced apartments.

- Guest friendly

- not a so bad location though it is not that close to nightlife areas.

- Nice quality of service.

- excellent quality/rate ratio.

- Only 2 lifts and they are not fast.

Personaly If given the choice I would rather choose livingstones but maybe the #small and cosy lodge where everyone knows everyonme# feel is not for you.

Hope it helps.

I know that the Grand Dynasty Inn on Suk SOi 6 is doing cheap rates at the moment - especially for long term guests. Current nightly rate is 1800 baht and 40,000 per month net. Very nice hotel and brand new. Only downside is you have no kitchen facilities but otherwise a top notch place and very cheap for the quality of the product - plus of course, in true Dynasty style, they dont care who you bring back with you.

Cheers
