Tried to put them on my laptop the other day and it told me to re format the disk, advising that all information would be lost in the process. Any ideas?, I'd really like to keep those photos. carlton68 Posted June 5, 2006 Report Share Posted June 5, 2006 Any other computer with floppy drive available? I'd try it with a few drives before doing anything else. When Win XP was released I had a problem with floppies, no idea if it applies here. When the floppy was formatted and written on a cumputer using Win XP, then I (a friend as well) had problems reading on a computer that had an older Windows OS.
