Heard an interesting story today which i would like to learn a bit more about if anyone has any info. Just caught the end of it on a radio program. It was about a jockey name Boote, think that's how it was spelt. They were talking about how he held the record for having the most race falls in the history of horse racing.......40 falls from 39 races. It got better at the end of the show the guys son actually called in. Apparently it was 41 falls from 39 races. He once fell off the stretcher on the way to the ambulance. It was on the ABC radio here in Sydney if anyone happened to catch it. Would love to hear the full story.

Kaiser Wilhelm II "invented" the tax on champagne to finance the submarines he was going to build.

 

The Kaiser is gone, the submarines too but the tax stays on.

There was a guy in our neighbourhood (a fat fat dude, about 150 Kilos of prime German meat) who was smoking while having a sh.., not knowing that the wife had disposed some cleaning-petrol in the toilet before.

 

When he threw the butt in the loo it exploded, giving him massive burns on his massive arse.

 

The Ambulance was called in and tried to bring him on a stretcher to the hopital.

 

Because his stairway was a bit tight and he was so massive, they dropped him on the way down, which resulted in several broken ribs, one broken leg and two broken arms.

 

After recovery, he stopped smoking and lost about 25 Kilos.
