itsmedave
But these statistics are not specifically concerned with westerners or expats. Certainly quality of life for expats in Thailand is much different than the quality of life for Thai's, which is what the survey measures. Expats are already well educated, and we have a higher liklihood of getting a job which is at least triple the average Thai salary. We also can afford a higher standard of health care than the average Thai and we are not inhibited in our lifestyle by being beholden to Thai culture. So not fair to compare our uniquely small demographic with the main results of the study.
