Fidel Posted September 28, 2006 Report Share Posted September 28, 2006 4.8 magnitude earthquake felt in Prachuap Khirikhan Prachuap Khirikhan - A series of earthquakes with epicenter in Burma were felt in Prachuap Khirikhan late Wednesday night, a senior meteorological official said Thursday. Rewat Kruadaeng, chief of Hua Hin Meteorological Office, said the first quake measured at 3.5 on Richter scale was felt in Hua Hin at 11:15 pm. The second quake mesured at 4.8 on Richter scale was felt at 1:45 am. He said the epicenter was about 70 kilometres west of Prachuap Khirikhan.
