I had the usual passport type photos made for mine when they had first switched over, the upper torso suit-and-tie respectable looking type. But they said uh-uh and told me to go to a photographer near the embassy. The new photo has to be mostly face, no smile ... and makes you look like Mr Potato Head. expat Posted December 13, 2006 Author Report Share Posted December 13, 2006 Just an update. Got my new passport, things went as everyone said they would. However, when I asked about the passport with extra pages, the consul said they discontinued that kind of passport. Don't know if he's misinformed or not, but I now have a shiny new skinny pasport.
