samak
ok, there is Lanna on Sukhumvit Soi 38, but that's quite upmarket and expensive.. the one on Suk Soi 22 opposite Queens Park beer bars has turned into a normal Thai restaurant and Hualampong food station has more Isaan than Northern dishes... so where to find a good and reasonable restaurant in Bangkok for northern dishes? thanks! limbo
Hmmmm, sounds like too many curries for me. Enjoy though.
Neo
...and "lop moo dip" (spelled just like it sounds) which is a favorite of mine; raw pork and amazingly good. Northern dishes typically are had with sticky rice which is another plus to me. Yeah, Northern cuisine restaurants in Bangkok, keep 'em coming! samak
intended to go to Hualampong food station last night (off Suk Soi 26), which had Isaarn and Northern dishes is a nice setting and Thai music. It's gone!
