happyfarang2547
Do internet cafes usually have iTunes on their computers? I don't carry a laptop but would like to be able to download podcasts to my iPod.
Guest
I've not seen it but i guess you could ask? I'm sure they wouldn't mind
ChristianTroy
Happyfarang, even if you could install ITunes on their computer, wouldn't that erase all your songs from your IPod? In order to add songs you are supposed to have your media files on the harddrive. IME your IPod is syncronising the with the content of your ITunes Library! Better check that out before you are loosing all your stuff!
happyfarang2547
ChristianTroy , Good point. Thanks. When I bought the IPod I was under the impression I could access shared files on public computers but as I learn more about the thing, I now know the same computer has to be used all the time. Since I don't have a laptop, I guess I'll box this thing up and return it.
ChristianTroy
Not the same computer, just the same library! I am sure there are programs that can handle that! Try the ipod pulgin for winamp i think you can simply add songs to your device! Or burn your library on a DVD and bring it with you! If you are in Pattaya you can use my puter! happyfarang2547
Did a Google for "ipod pulgin for winamp" and found iPodhacks.com. You are right, it would work. I'll be in Pattaya in a couple of weeks and will drop in and say hello.

happyfarang2547
Thanks. Mine was syncing automatically. Anyway, I got rid of the iPod. It was a controlling Bitch!! Replaced it with a generic device. Much better for traveling.
Damen
EhpPod (which a nice clean interface) can be used as an iTunes replacement. It dosent sync by default, although it supports it and has a lot of features that iTunes wont support due to piracy concerns. Best of all, its free http://www.ephpod.com/
