Jesus, that place... I'll never sleep there, that's for sure, but who knows, maybe I'll set foot in there again. a den of sin if ever there was one! Maybe I'm confused about the name/location, but what a dump... Had a girl I used to stay with every once in a while about 6 years ago when I was first discovering the dark side of the dark side of Bangkok. Used to have to share the room with a friend of the girl, then the friend died so we'd have the room to ourselves... talk about warning signs. Hotel D'Ma, Makkasan - stayed there back around 2002, clean new rooms, good deal. Went back a couple years later - rooms filthy, worn out, suddenly Gulf clientele. Never again. And that short time hotel around the mid-20s, even side of Sukhumvit -- why would anyone ever choose that dump when the PB/Penthouse are available?! keith doug Posted November 14, 2006 Report Share Posted November 14, 2006 its odd the park soi5 was a great hotel until my last visit.. the hotel had new carpets!!!!! and may be because of this not sure.. there were loads of cock roaches!!!
