After trying to confirm my accommodation, I was pissed off to say the least about my regular abode in Bangkok Grand President Suk Soi 11. I have stayed there many times over the years and was thinking of changing as to the price increases of late. All of a sudden I found monthly rates with an online company that I used a few years ago for rooms in Patong. :smirk: Link Topaz studio 32000THB Executive Studio 40000THB Including taxes I enquired for the period 21/12/06 - 20/1/07 & received confirmation the next day. This equates to a saving of 60+% on the normal rates GP charge. No problems with the booking however had to pay up front + 400booking fee for my executive studio.
