bust
I know only a few will be in a position to be able to attend but this is something that has gone on for way too long. c) National Day of Action: Bring David Hicks Home December 9 marks the fifth year of imprisonment for David Hicks with no chance of his release in sight. He remains in legal limbo. David, like more than 700 men and minors who have gone through the US naval base prison camp of Guantánamo, has endured physical and psychological torture. Come to this event and demand the Guantanamo prison camp is closed and the civil liberties of all people are protected. Wear orange clothing and bring drums! When: 12noon, Saturday 9 December Where: Sydney Town Hall Organised by C.F.M.E.U. Sydney
MooNoi
Whether he is guilty or innocent, I definitely feel some sympathy for the guy. That's a long time in prison without trial. At least if he's given a (fair) trial and proven guilty then he can do the time. And if he's innocent, let the bloke go.
