thaihoteldiscounts
yes i booked mine through tim and it was a great hotel!!one of the cheaper good quality ones belfastish, Were you charged joiner fees?
thaihoteldiscounts
no way would i pay for accomodation in advance and they debit my card!! Keith doug, That's fair enough. Some people don't like to prepay. Though not prepaying is far more expensive. Booking direct with the The Swiss Park is 1700 Baht/night for a Superior room and through another agency is 1400. Stay 10 nights and its works out quite a bit more expensive. Tim
trooper
I booked via Thaihoteldiscounts and their service was great and fast. Also the price was the cheapest I could find in the internet. The guest fee problem with internet bookings is very common in Bangkok. Forexample in Woraburi I ended up paying guest fees everynight and it became more expensive than if I would have booked it straight from the hotel web site. trooper
What about Pattaya hotels? I have always booked a single room and never had to pay any joiner fees in any hotel I have stayed in Pattaya. Thaihoteldiscounts have attractive rates for Sunshine and Flipper Lodge, is it ok to just book a single?
Mentors
nothing new about that. I stayed a lot at Swiss Park, in the meantime often crowded with Chinese hobby golf players.
liquidflux
I always book a double to be safe. Usually the price between the two is negligable. Even came across one hotel where the difference was 1 baht, pretty silly really.
FAT_AUSSIE
Same same. My wife daughter and I stay here from time to time. We get a double, a cot, eat brekky and just pay the one fee, 1600THB. Good hotel BTW. Bit sus about that little pool though.... FA...
trooper
I have to say I was really pleased with my stay at the Swiss Park. Thaihoteldiscounts fare about 1200 a night for double is very good value for a Bangkok hotel. The swimming pool is quiet and rooms very clean and comfortable by my standards. This hotel will absolutely be my choice for the next Bangkok visits. My experience was the hotel was very guest friendly. They asked an id card from the bg I brought in the first night and the second night my gtg friend came to see me and they didn't bother stopping her at all at the lobby. jondoefour
I booked the Swiss Park for five nights in January thru Tim at thaihoteldiscounts . Got a great price and there was NO charge for bringing in a guest for the night. They did take the ID card for my safety. Nice place for the money. Real close to the Skytrain too.
