bust
That's too bad. It was good to see how the poms had him worked out in Adelaide .......anyone seen sayjann?
sayjann
i'm here...... misleading Title to the Thread, thought it meant he had retired as of Today. thought that strange he was going without getting that 700th wicket. BTW i only post in the Cricket threads because i don't know the in's and out's of the Game and find Tests boring. i do like the 20/20 Game though.......exciting. and i also post because i like to wind you lot up knowing full well you will take the bait..... Guest
Sudden change in his thinking, he had said he would play in 2009...sad to see him stop, he is the greatest spin bowler ever...can't see another like him coming along in my lifetime... arkutha
Just heard on fox sports that press conference called for the 21st. All the pundits are calling that he will play his last test at the MGC. Lets hope he gets a wicket...current betting has Bell to be his 700th victim. Not bad 4 a guy that took 1/140 in his first test match. IMO a once in a lifetime spin bowler Great 2 watch him in all forms of cricket over the years. Great competitor ... a true champion. Julian2
Well said, the supporters of Muttiah Muralitharan should remember, in the certain event of his surpassing Warne's wicket total that Muralitharen bowled almost all of his home match overs on pitches prepared by the groundsman for Muralitharen. Warne bowled his on pitches prepared for Glen McGrath.
