Julian2
Just crossed back into LOS with new 60 day single entry tourist visa. Put my passport, bulging with visa run exemptions, in with B1000 before 12.30 yesterday, about one hour wait, picked it up after 1pm today. Got there early, no wait once it opened. Painless, apart from the excess of beer Lao consumed in the SamLo Pub.

Julian2
No mate, they recognised a 'tourist' of the quality they seek immediately. Will write of my experiences on ThailandStories.com in the next week. Assuming that I ever recover from the hangover I've got coming tomorrow. cardinalblue
Good to hear at least one country is not stamping "not allowed to obtain another tourist visa at this location" which i am not sure they have the legal authority to do it? But when they do it and other thai embassies see it, its like a red flag to them and they might question you further? So KL and PP are two known places to do this. Any other locations? Palatkik
On the earlier thread Getting a Tourist Visa Regionally, posters stated that KL did NOT stamp "not allowed again" whereas PP did.
preahko
correct, I did not receive that stamp a little over a week ago when I got my visa in KL, and I've never heard of it being done in KL. I have heard of it being done in Phnom Penh and Singapore. preahko
