I've just been e-mailed back from Loxinfo about this subject, their words:

"Dear Sir,

Please kindly inform that "Unlimited WebTOT1222" is the one service support

only TOT line. We are now just finished to increse the bandwidth between

Loxinfo and TOT. You should get the good connection speed with 1222 number.

For your question about 1222 in Pattaya, please kindly let you know that

TOT line which is located in Jomtient area may have got the connection

Yet another update (I'd e-mailed not only Loxinfo main tech-help but also Loxinfo Pattaya node and this is their reply):

Dear Sir.

About "1222WebTOT" packages we test in Chonburi/Pattaya and found

speed is slower than normal packages. Anyway in Loxinfo Pattaya Shop

have this product already. And about news server you can use

"news.loxinfo.co.th" as news server.

Ciao, pao.

I am in Bangkok. After five years with Loxinfo, I just dumped them. One of the many reasons was that they gave me some mumbo-jumbo about not having unlimited internet usage available more than 30 days. Also, no POP3 account.

I switched to Samart which is pretty good so far. A few busy signals and unexpected disconnects, but not too bad. After 5 hours you are disconnected and must reconnect. I paid about 3,000 baht for one-year unlimited.

Much better than Loxinfo IMO.
