coops
Do you feel comfortable putting your credit card information, on line, at an internet shop, to buy your ticket? For the paranoid, use Torpark on a thumbdrive.

thalenoi
Hi, And what sites do you guys use? I just checked www.thaifly.com and www.flights.com, but neither was that great (flights.com especially quotes insanely high prices). Sanuk! I use traveltech200.com and bangkoktickets.com I alos look at nouvellesfrontieres.be :more expensive out of BKK but no charges for using credit cards. And they often have good deals on european airlines.
coops
torpark on a thumbdrive? Where do you get that? If you're in Thailand - with some difficulty. The Thai web censors will try to block the relevant web pages, but you can still try googling "Torpark" and rummaging around.... Or get a friend in the 'free' world to google it, download it and email it to you. Only around 3 to 4 Mb..... Unzip it and run the .exe. file. No install - so can be saved to any drive, portable or whatever, and run from there. Sets up a private Tor network that will bypass any pathetic web censorship URL blocking crap. It runs on a portable version of Firefox. It's free. It'll work in china, no doubt.... oh, it works on your work network too - but you wouldn't risk your job to bypass their web censorship would you?
