thalenoi
We lived 4 years on the beach near Chumpon, 1100kms from her native village and in the end built a house just 1km out the village, a much better experience I must say. The reasons to leave Chumpon area were numerous, not the least the unfriendly thais there. I have a friend who bought a huge plot of land there and his wife is sad she will have to stay there for the forseable future. I do understand her quite well. He built a huge wall around his property in order to be "isolated" from the bad thais
limbo
J2, not everybody is married to a BG. TH makes some very valid points. We live about 500 meters from my parents in law, but in case I need to move to work somewhere else, my wife and family will follow me. Simple as that. Julian2
J2, not everybody is married to a BG. TH makes some very valid points. We live about 500 meters from my parents in law, but in case I need to move to work somewhere else, my wife and family will follow me. Simple as that. So show me where I said they were? I merely described a passage from a book that mentioned bargirls. I certainly don't think any less of any one who marries a bargirl, I was trying to discuss the possible pitfalls of taking a Thai girl out of her home environment, regardless of previous occupation.
