However as a point worth noting the High class hotels, Sheraton, Hilton etc are subsidised by govt in order to attract business, so you could find yourself in one of the above for around 3000 baht a night and there are a couple right next to the railway terminus that you need for the airport. Nervous_Dog Posted March 1, 2007 Report Share Posted March 1, 2007 I always stay on Bukit Bintang area, plenty of heap hotel that aren't bad at all for uner 1000 baht. Right in the middle of bukit bintang are two I know of, one has a lovely old facade from the 30's/40's. Hi ddDave, I've stayed at these 2 before.... no problems with either of them for a night or two. As ND said, getting around KL is easy.
