mikeinseattle2
Having travelled previously and facing traveller's diarrhea, I've finally found the cure. Tested 3 times, this vaccine is amazing. It is taken orally twice before your trip. First trip, ate out at restuarants like crazy and never had a single problem. Other two times, protected my digestive system like someone build a steel box around the whole thing. Ducoral is the name of the vaccine and costs about 40 bucks for each dose. Not sure if it's available in USA but definately with prescription in Canada and Europe. Definately worth it to make your trip 10 times better! tomc12
Dukoral provides some help against traveller's diarrhea, but the protection is not complete-approximately 65% and 85% protection against enterotoxic E.coli and Vibrio (cholera), respectively. You should still be careful about what you eat and drink.
cavanami
Just eat the hot Thai chili peppers and that will kill any bacteria! ...stay close to the potty :-)
Boo Radley
Interesting. I've being thinking of trying Dukoral, since I suffer more than my fair share of Bangkok Belly when in LOS!
zob65
The cheapest method is: 2 spoons of cornflour mix in water. It wont cure it but it will thicken it up for you!
