Fidel
A friend of mine works for a publishing company that focuses on South East Asian non-fiction. They're looking for material. PM me for more details.
Sukhumvit
How about an Ilocano/English phrasebook in the style of Making Out in Thai? Myself and an ex gf wrote one a couple of years ago. Only shortish, just like MOIThai. Done nothing with it. Ilocano is one of the northern Philippines regional dialects and is spoken by over 9 million people as a first language before Tagalog. Fidel
Hmmm, I think they're looking for something with broader appeal that would also sell in the West.

Flashermac
That's a new one on me, as it is in Ireland. Looks quite respectable. I'm a non-fiction writer, but I haven't had the energy to write an entire book in about 15 years. If you're doing a topic that interests you, it's fun. Otherwise, it's a helluva lot of work.
