Palatkik Posted April 18, 2007 Report Share Posted April 18, 2007 There's a thread going on that Visa web site since late March saying Immigration now want proof of onward travel (air,sea or land?) for those re-entering Thailand on a 30 day visa exempt. colorwolf Posted April 18, 2007 Report Share Posted April 18, 2007 couple of visa runners who had spent the previous 2-3 months in thailand on a tourist visa were barred from re-entering at poipet on a 30-day exemption and told they'd have to get a new tourist visa. only after much hassle were they allowed entry; stamp in their passports says their 30 day visa in not extendable and that they'll have to exit thailand by air. guess thai immigration at poipet is by now about as pleasant to deal with as their khmer counterparts...at least for the visa-runners...
