teddy
I wouldn't dream of trying this: LIVERPOOL striker Harry Kewell won a punter nearly £180,000 when he equalised with a 90th-minute penalty against Charlton, a bookmaker said yesterday. The gambler, who wants to remain anonymous, bet £10 at odds of nearly 18,000/1 that he could predict the outcomes of the final round of Premiership games for the 2006-7 season. Kewellâ??s goal at Anfield on Sunday gave Liverpool a 2-2 draw and the punter eight out of eight correct predictions. Bookmaker Coral said the punter laid the bet at a bookmakers in Sawston, Cambridgeshire. â??It was an amazing bet,â? said a Coral spokesman. â??Very, very unusual to predict the outcome of so many games. The Liverpool game was the key one because they were losing and if Kewell hadnâ??t scored heâ??d have won nothing.â?
