Hamokhamok
Anyone here with any experience of travelling with Air France on this journey. I'm booked on a flight from Dublin to Paris CDG and then onto Bangkok all with City Jet / Air France. Just wondering what Air France is like etc. Thanks. carew66
Used Air France a few years ago and it was fine. My flight from LHR to CDG was delayed and I made the connection with minutes to spare but the staff were very helpful. No sweat. Can't remember much else. I sleep on these things. MooNoi
Anyone here with any experience of travelling with Air France on this journey. I'm booked on a flight from Dublin to Paris CDG and then onto Bangkok all with City Jet / Air France. Paris (CDG) is a shit-hole of an airport, so try and get a quick connection through there both ways if you can. Just wondering what Air France is like etc. Thanks. Hi. I have flown Air France from Asia to Europe before and they were fine. (I have also flown KLM, Lufthansa and BA as well, and Air France was the pick of them - especially in terms of food. They had good food! And lots of free grog too if that floats your boat). Seats were comfy enough and decent leg-room. I flew a short hop with them from Bangkok - Saigon last month and wrote a trip report on it for a travel forum. There's some pix of the cabin etc if you want a look and you can find it here
Hamokhamok
Thats a great report. I like the photos too. From what you say everything should be just fine if we can avoid your hostess friend. Thanks for the information.
ultras67
would never go with them again. the hop to CDG was ok but to BKK they didnt give a toss. the guy in front of me never put his seat upright when the meals came round and when I asked a stewardess for help she gave a gallic shrug and buggered off. would even pick lufthansa ahead of them
ChristianTroy
Aren't all airlines basically same crappy when you fly economy? From what I have learned TG offers the biggest seat pitches which is 2 inches more as average!
MooNoi
In economy, Singapore Airlines, Emirates, Ethiad and Virgin Atlantic can't be beat IMO.
