shotover
My favorite stand (next to Pantip Plaza) for picking up inexpensive, recent magazines (Newsweek, Time, The Economist, Business Week, etc.) seems to have given up the business. Does anyone else know of similar stands that sell recently issued English-language magazines at discounted prices in Bangkok? I seem to recall seeing one in the Victory Monument area, but haven't been in the area in a couple of years. Cheers.
Palatkik
Haven't seen discounted versions - just full price. The latest Economist, Business Week are usually available as torrents downloads on net, not sure about Time & Newsweek.
MooNoi
Silom Complex, bottom-most level opposite MK restaurant - quite a good selection of English language magazines there.
Flashermac
Weekend Market at Jatujak. Got recent mags from the airlines for next to nothing!
shotover
Thanks Flash. Would these be the shops where many sell books near the Kamphaeng Phet MRT station on Kamphaeng Phet Rd? I like to do my bit toward recycling and conservation.
