Even though a Buddhist country everyone seems to get into the Christmas spirit. The Santa hats, elf ears, and reindeer horns adorn pretty bargirl heads. I love the Patpong bars during the holidays. There most of the ladies do wear their holiday finery, especially in the hostess bars like Cosmos, Patpong Cafe, Crown Royale, etc. The gogos are great fun too with the dancers especially perky in Santa hats. One question I have been asking around is whether the bars will get some special dispensation to stay open late at least Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Historically, this has been the case creating two great evenings of sanuk (despite the inflated barfines). It will truly blow if the bars close at 2AM on New Year's Eve.
