He probably didn't die of HIV but in an advanced stage of the AIDS virus. I also believe it is a misnoemaer (sp?) that only poor people die of AIDS because they can't afford the medicine to extend the lives... Medicine alone doesn not keep one going forever; there is a point were diseases shall always win over drug therapy. Drugs only extends ones life but for how long is determined by many factors... Who is to say he was not taking medications for his condition? unless you know he couldn't afford actual the drug treatment? Many many wealthy or sucessful people have died of AIDS.
