wonderlust
This website is confusing me: http://www.truemove.com/eng/product/package/post_cyber_sim.htm For 800 baht you get "unlimited Wi-Fi or GPRS". I understand the GPRS bit (although I'm assuming they actually mean EDGE) but the unlimited WIFI bit is confusing me. Do they offer this and if so how? The only way I can think of is if they're offering WiMAX. Or is it just a crap translation?
wonderlust
This sheds some light on it: http://www.truewifi.net It's just a load of hotspots scattered around Bangkok hotels and restaurants etc. Aren't they mostly free anyway? Palatkik
None of the True wi-fi hot spots are free last time I tried?
wonderlust
I meant WIFI hotspots in general. Anyway, the unlimited cards are only available on a 12 month contract to those with a drivers licence and work permit. I wish someone had told me that before I wasted all this time researching this EDGE crap.
