simie
I've always found the staff there rather friendly I've never patronised the bar of the same name next door so don't really know exactly what the set up is, but I've always assumed the staff to be relatively interchangable? Many of them have looked as if they have other fish to fry shall we say, when their not frying fish that is?! Simie.

Have occasionally been in the Offshore Bar during the daytime. Fairly nondescript place with an aged clientelle. The owner is an Englishman and his wife (I think) runs the fish and chips shop. He's a fairly dour fellow but livens up after a few neat (no ice) vodkas for lunch. Quite pleasant though if you fancy somewhere quiet for a cold beer and a read of the paper of an afternoon.
