Will many people be heading back home to vote ? and what about the 24th , 25th, 26th ? I know Thailand is not a "Christmas" country but that never stopped them from taking a few extra days off work ! eyebee
Dec 24th has just been announced as an extra public holiday (to allow people to go home to vote). Also read the sticky "What really happens on election days" at the top of the nightlife forum page.
OCgringo
the sticky was last elections ....interesting but how will that change with the military running things,,,, Or is that more a local police division thing ? OC
eyebee
I guess we'll have to wait and see. But with Thailand heaving at that time, I'm sure the Thais won't want to lose too much drinking time (i.e. gouge the tourists time)!
