Steve Posted November 30, 2007 Report Share Posted November 30, 2007 RIALTO, California (CNN) -- Rodney King , whose 1991 police beating sparked widespread rioting in Los Angeles and other U.S. cities, was recovering Thursday after being slightly wounded by gunfire. Rialto, California, Police Department Sgt. Don Lewis said King was grazed on his face, arms, back and torso. The wounds were superficial. A shotgun was believed to have been the weapon used. Rodney either is a guy who hangs in places he shouldn't, or, he pissed someone off royally. He got lucky. Shotguns can do some serious damage at close range. OCgringo Posted November 30, 2007 Report Share Posted November 30, 2007 Rodney was a screw-up before he got beat up, he got pulled over that time after a high speed chase. I am glad there were cameras that day , the LAPD was right in beating him , BUT they did not stop once he was down and thats where they went wrong , The riots were when the cops who beat him went on trial and were declared not guilty Rodney has been arrested a few times since and I think has blown all the $$$$$ I think Rodney needs to find some new friends and get out of California !
