A Farang can legally have a 30 year lease without setting up an illegal dummy company. Particulary The Munchmaster's clarification of the company structure and Thai shareholders signing away their share holding being totally illegal and under focus of Thai government. Seems property investment it Thailand could be doable if you live there and working on the "in and out in a couple of years" scenario.
