FAT_AUSSIE
Hi All. hope this fits this section??? Couple of days ago I watched a Thai movie, Citizen Dog. O.K. movie, pointless but funny at the least. In the beginning, An old lady told her grandson, Pod, as he was leaving for work in Bangkok for the first time that he should check his arse the day after he starts working for the first time to see if he has grown a tail. I asked my wife about this and she told me that only once you work can you become lazy, like a dog (hence the tail). I feel I have misunderstood my wife however and would love to know how correct my interpretation is. Anyone else ever heard about growing a tail??? FA... Flashermac
People from Lopburi are used to being asked by other Thais if they have a tail.
Goodthaigirl
i only know the expression "yok hang" raise the tail.it stands for pretending something. Yok hang means "blow their own horn". To OP, I'm not sure of the expression. Never heard of it before. To express "laziness" I usually use "lang yaw" ( à ¸«à ¸¥à ¸±à ¸?à ¸¢à ¸²à ¸§ Long back") GTG
