I live only 80kms from the Burmese border and cross regularly for shopping/visa purposes etc but have never venture more than a couple of kms inland. Quite fun until the cyclone at least. Can't help much about upcountry, but my local friends find all the pussy they need when travelling. As of Yangon, it has a thriving sex industry, which I oblige in supporting financially as often as my professionnal dealings with that lovely country allow. Check the ISG for more details.
