Wallenda
Can anyone recommend a website for booking Thai train tickets via the internet? A friend of mine is heading there and wants to get the overnight sleeper to Chiang Mai the day after arriving late in BKK. Any help appreciated. WorldFun
you probably need to involve a local travel agency to do this
dddave
I believe train tickets all over the world, including Thailand, can be booked on www.seat61.com
Wallenda
Hi thanks. Actually after posting that question I did come across Seat61.com. It looks like you can't book directly on that site, but it has a few links to some sites that can. It also has the schedules and real Thai Railway ticket prices for all the routes and classes, and mentions there'd be about a 200 baht surcharge on top of that booking via one of those linked sites. Julian2
Booking online is supposed to be relatively simple but I haven't done it personally. Thailand Train Tickets
