One way to say it:

"In a land where the primary religion teaches tolerance of other religions and ways of life, the superior legal system of the US Military removed a Marine who was handing out religious materials that may offend some of those who practice the religion of peace.

In a further display of altruism, Iraqis wishing to had out Islamic materials to US personnel remains unchecked."

Very true!

He wants to do that crap, he should become a missionary.

Agree, although I'm a christian (yes, a whoring, hypocritical one..haha)

Its difficult enough over there as well. His sharing of his faith may lead to his or other soldiers death. Its not fair or right but it is what it is.

I'd agree with the military. Its kinda crazy to do any thing like that considering where you are and how unpopular we are. Last thing I would want as a fellow soldier is somebody in my unit handing out christian stuff that may get the locals angry.
