SiLeakHunt
Heard a rumour that during the making of Ong Bak 2 Monsiuer Jaa has had to go into hiding at Pohonyothin Police Station after "negotiations" of his $1 million advance and shooting budget (unfortunate phrase) became strained. Can anybody comment on this ? Cheers
Zaad
I did see on the news that he was in some kind of financial shit... said he hadn't received all the cash..??..whatever.. he should whoop their asses and move to Hollywood and join the likes of Jet Li and Jackie Chan
Central Scrutinizer
Actually I heard he was offered a Hollywood contract (for big money) and some control over his movies made there. He was said to have turned it down so he could continue living in Thailand and making movies here so he could stay close to his parents and family. He also said he made/makes plenty of money here and didn't need the huge amount offered by the Hollywood people. He might be regreting that decision now? Zaad
If the Hollywood boys think he's a moneymaker they'll not refuse him if he decides to do it. They couldn't care less about the past, ,they think money! I'd like to see him try. I like those kind of movies, BS story but great entertainment. samak
the story was even here in the local singaporean newspaper. so it seems he gets a lot of attention outside Thailand; well otherwise he would not go by the name of Tony Jaa! Panom Yeerum would just be fine for Thailand!
