GLITTER IS FREE TO LIVE ANYWHERE

CHILD sex pervert Gary Glitter, the former pop star, will be free to roam the world the day he leaves jail in Vietnam.

No restrictions will be placed on Glitter â?? real name Paul Francis Gadd â?? from the moment he steps on to an aircraft after serving a three-year sentence for abusing underage girls.

Glitterâ??s lawyer said: â??His ticket has been bought but I am not free to say where he is going. He has served his sentence. Once he is on the aircraft he is a free man. He will not be accompanied.â?Â

Glitter, who is due to be freed this month, could go anywhere.

The head of the charity Fight Against Child Exploitation in Thailand said: â??I am not sure what can be done except to keep him under surveillance.â?Â

Glitter, 64, left Britain after admitting possessing 4,000 hardcore photographs of children being abused and receiving a

four-month jail sentence in November 1999. He was put on the Sex Offendersâ?? register for seven years.

Why is this paper quoting a Thailand based 'organisation' (hand-wringers with an acronym) Thailand isn't mentioned anywhere else in this piece is it?

Australia I expect. :smirk:

Every free man who has paid his debt to society is entitled to go where he pleases in privacy.

If I see him up here I'll be on the phone to the Sunday Spew so quick the line will catch on fire.

(Err... what would be a good starting price in the negotiations?)
