Showing your usual contempt for history I see Rog, some British hotels have refused service to soldiers for as long as there have been soldiers in Britain. British soldiers have always been partial to a drink, up to recent times booze was even included in their rations and in a rather famous period of Australian history were even paid in rum. drogon Posted September 5, 2008 Report Share Posted September 5, 2008 I knew one bar-restaurant in Belgium which refused entry to British and Australian soldiers... and all this for quite good reasons.
