cheekyboy Posted October 28, 2008 Report Share Posted October 28, 2008 Two Norwegians Drugged In Pattaya Two men from Bergen woke up in Pattaya last Tuesday, after they had been doped and robbed by three women. The day after the incident, three Thai women were arrested after they tried on a similar approach to a 71-year-old Danish tourist. Police Colonel Noppadol Wongnorm confirms that they have arrested three women aged 21 to 42 years, which proves to be siblings. The women have been recognized by a number of victims. The three arrested stay put in prison custody. During the investigation the police found tablets and itemsâ?? belonging to victims. The police are now investigating whether drugs may have been used to dope the victims. According to sources in the tourist town one of the victims from Bergen has recognized the offender when a local news channel showed pictures of the arrested women. [DSCF0303.jpg] Danish citizen Hassan Biko, aged 71, told investigators that he had been approached by three women who seemed to be working in harmony together. The women were taken into custody and two small bags of marijuana and some tablets were found concealed about their persons. They agreed they had been sitting next to the intended victim on a baht bus but denied they had tried to remove his valuables, notably his wallet, to their own tender care. However it turned out that all three had a long criminal record for thieving and all were related in an extended kin network. But they persisted in denying they had tried to rob Mr Biko who decidedly claimed he had been interfered with whilst passengers were getting on and off the baht bus. The police arrested all three and booked them on attempted robbery and drugs charges. One of the accused women said they had found the drugs on a park bench and had completely forgotten about them, thus explaining why the offensive substances were found on their persons. More...
