Guest
HI All, Thinking of trading US mkts online from LOS with PFG Futures or Express trade. Does anyone have any experience with them or know of a better online broker? Thanks in advance!
coops
I use Interactive Brokers, very good and commsions are 1cent/share and 0.5c per share over 500 (eg $6.50 for 800 shares). Recommend www.elitetrader.com as a discussion board - has broker review section aswell. Loxinfo are ok for ISP, you'll need to get some DSL or Cable if you can - see Qnet at www.lensodatacom.co.th for DSL, also UBT provide DSL to some areas (there's a shop in Siam Discovery). Cable modem is just about possible in some areas, also ISDN. For DSL and ISDN you'll need a TOT phone line. All the "broadband" providers advertise 'always on' etc etc, but then charge you per hour of internet usage - hah. Also check out the tiny wording at the cable providers about access to Thai websites being free (whoopeeeeeee) and that you'll be charged extra per Mb of traffic to foreign website - jaysus. Good luck - and get a pc with Windows2000 (no, not ME or win98). regards coops
