drogon
11H30 GMT, 90,03 pence for one euro ...........(or 1,1106 euro for one £) New (sadly) historical record. At least it will be good news for British exporters but I am afraid it will not be enough -> will it reach parity? I am sad for my British friends (yes I do know a few well-behaved British people) Pound 'buying less than a Euro' http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business/7782234.stm

WorldFun
sure the GBP is at an all time low, but it's STILL some 12% above the Euro so the the 'tourists' who manage to throw away more than 12% of their weak enough currency in dodgy exchanges then I say stop whining & use some sense e.g. use your freaking ATM card or Nationwide Visa etc which will at worst loose 1% versus the euro while surely in LOS or other places one might loose up to 2% - fuck it 12%++ I wanna be loan shark or dodgy exchange shop at mallorca/ibiza when I grow up one day
