Ryder
Not a trip report as such boys, but more of a video sequence I rolled into Bangkok from a fast blast from Hua Hin on a CBR 150. Average speed was about 120 kph (carrying about 10 kilos). Took me about an hour and 50 minutes or so. Then it was time to brave the 'inner-traffic' zones of Don Muang etc... Didn't get stopped by the BIB but I saw several crashed cars up on Highway 9 (as I headed around the loop section). http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=1946442446419699306&hl=en It's shot with Helmet cam so excuse the jerky, canted angle The video takes off as I hit DM under-roadway... CTO
That was a good time for Hua Hin run. The road is good if only they'd stop working on it
Ryder
Cheers CT! Compared with Highway 4 south of Pranburi (HoleVille and bumps!) it's a dream road from HH. Hopefully the bridge running from the 35 to bypass the main part of BKK will be ready soon (if not already)
WorldFun
you mean a new bypass south of the city - ring rd 9 final loop is it? I saw & drove parts of its brand new section in the samut prakan area, but not sure if that one would connect all the way to '35' although I suppose it has the direction to do it
