Central Scrutinizer Posted January 28, 2009 Report Share Posted January 28, 2009 Boonjong denies attaching his name cards to cash gifts Deputy Interior Minister Boonjong Wontrairat on Wednesday blamed misleading news reports for a misunderstanding that he attached his name cards to Bt100,000 state funds distributed to destitue villagers in Nakhon Ratchasima. "I am ready to be scrutinised by independent organisations as I did nothing wrong relating to the cash hand-out," he said. Only certain newspapers tried to skew the reports in order to fault him, he said. He said thousands of villagers could be his witnesses.
