cavanami
Yes, near China town, around the Old Siam shopping center. Just take like the #507 bus, go thru C'Town and exit at Old Siam. There are many gun shops in the area that sell this, that and the other thing.
FarangFatal
Take the BUS, Mai Ow Krap! I'll take the subway and taxi from there.... Now as to the legality... I've e-mailed my Thai Lawyer and she'll give me the 411. I'll likely get the items gratus from the local PD at home.
Bangkoktraveler
Legal or not, when it comes to defending one self, most are poorly prepared. One instrutor this weekend showed me how well he was prepared. If it took him that long to get his shit, he might just be dead if it was the real thing. ThaiSpy
The gun shops are mostly located on Soi Burapha.
Ryder
I've got pepper spray and the baton. Both are legal (ish). As long as you don't have Michael Ryan tendancies and keep them covert then you shouldn't have any hassle. Firearms are a serious one. Kept in your house in a Thai persons name they are ok. But keeping them as a CCW (concealed) on the move is a big no-no. If you get lifted you'll end up in prison more than likely.
